Where we will be in April—Garagiste Wine Festival in Sonoma

We hope you will taste with us at the 4th Annual Garagiste Festival: Northern Exposure in Sonoma, CA, on Saturday, April 30th. You are asking yourself what is Garagiste:*Garagistes (garage-east) is a term initially used in the Bordeaux region of France to denigrate renegade, small-lot winemakers, sometimes working in their “garages” (anything considered not a chateau), who refused to follow the “rules,” and is now a full-fledged movement responsible for making some of the best wine in the world. The Garagiste Festivals were the first to shine a light on the American garagiste winemaker in 2011.

The festival is an unpretentious and lively gathering, where you get to meet the winemakers—like Sunny, our winemaker! – and taste a wide variety of limited, hand-crafted wines featuring a wide assortment of different grape and wine styles! Amrita Cellars will be pouring our 2017 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with the fragrance of earth tones of black mushrooms and dried florals with hints of herbs. A long with our 2018 Russian River Pinot Noir with the aromas of bing cherry, cola, porcini mushrooms, and soft exotic spices and elegant herbs.
