Citrus meets Pinot Noir…

We enjoy this Citrus Salt so much we wanted to share it with you. It is versatile, tart, and citrusy. It is a blend of lemon, orange, and grapefruit. It will add a punch of flavor to every meal, from chicken and fish to veggies and guacamole, oh yes, and cocktails. There’s natural rind in the salt, which gives it the flavor burst that you will enjoy. Here are a few ideas:

Cucumber Citrus Salad—Give this one a bit of time, and it will reward you. Chill your cucumbers first, then slice them into 1/8″ discs. Lightly salt them with your Amrita Cellars Citrus Salt, and toss. Let them sit covered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, then drain and toss with rice or white vinegar for a tasty, refreshing treat!

Grilled Citrus Shrimp—Preheat your grill to medium heat, then mix two tablespoons of olive oil, a teaspoon of paprika, and a tablespoon of Amrita Cellars Citrus Salt. Toss the shelled shrimp in that mixture, then grill each side of the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until opaque.

Citrus Avocado Toast—Next time, you whip up your favorite avocado toast and sprinkle some Amrita Cellars Citrus Salt to add extra complexity and depth to the avocado.
